How can I set up email letters TO and FROM my sponsored children? I have so many children and I’d like to cut down on the paper mail that comes to me.

Hi Amy! In order to write electronic letters to your children, you would simply do so through your online account at www.compassion.com. I would be happy to update your letter preferences on my end to reflect that you would only like to receive emailed letters from your children, not physical copies. Would you like me to update any of your other mailing preferences as well, to cut down on mail? It's very customize-able and you can easily reduce what's sent to you physically.

Yes, if there’s any way you can change my preference to receive only email letters from my kiddos, that’d be great! I think I’ve sent emails to them before, so I should know how to do that part. Thanks so much for your help!

How easy is it for the kids to send emails?

They don't actually send emails. They write a letter, which is scanned in online and delivered electronically after being translated.

Hi Amy! Sarah's right; the kiddos in our program don't have access to computers, as a general rule. Any electronic letter you receive from them has been handwritten and scanned.
