Thanks for the very informative letter explaining the situation in India and Compassion's inability to continue serving in that region. Thank you also for all the effort you expended and the many ways in which you tried to work with the Government to the benefit of "the least of these" in that land.

We're not ready to move on to sponsoring another child right away so please do not automatically assign a new sponsorship. However please do use the funds held in reserve for the Critical Needs Fund.

I have made the correct changes on your account to ensure another child will not be added to your account. Please know that when you are ready to sponsor again, we will feel blessed to have you back! In addition, thank you for allowing all held funds to be processed toward our Critical Needs Fund. I can assure you that these funds will go towards helping many children in need!
