I know that accepting or sending Facebook friend requests isn't allowed by the Compassion International rules.  However, I know that a child that I had been sponsoring that has now left the program because her family moved has an account.  Since she left the program, I have no way of communicating with her.  Do the rules continue even though she is no longer connected with compassion, or is that allowed now that I am not her sponsor anymore?

If she is no longer involved with Compassion, there is no reason not to communicate with her, if you can. If there is a chance she will be involved with Compassion again, I would keep the information you have and contact her when it is for sure that she will not be involved again.

Hi Carleen! Thank you so much for asking! Since this child is no longer in the program, you may interact directly. However, we ask that you sign our waiver of liability first. If you could just let me know which child it is, I would be happy to email you the form. You could then sign it, scan it, and get it back to us.
