Hello, We sponsor a child in El Salvador.  I visited her last year and was promised to be kept up to date on her health, schooling and other issues that came up during my visit.  I have sent many letters and received very few...all  letters have been very generic letters, none responding to questions that I have specifically asked, or no response to the assurances I was given last summer.

I was recently on mission in Honduras and one of my translators told me that when he worked for Compassion, I could fill out a field ticket request form requesting specific questions be answered by the El Salvadorian field office and overseer of my sponsorship child and sponsorship program.

I have searched your site on a number of occasions and cannot find where I can fill out a field ticket request and send down specific questions to receive specific answers.

Where do I find this form, or how can I send one.  I will be returning to visit my sponsored child soon, and would like to know where things stand in her health and growth...  Sponsorship letters have been absolutely no help to me.

Can you Please help?  Thank you.

Susan can probably set you up through here, but if you call the 800 number they should also be able to help. They are only open M-F though. Sorry your letters have not been helpful. Most of my kids are pretty good about answering my questions, it takes some time and there is overlap due to the mail delay. It's a slowly but surely thing for me. I hope the field office gets you an answer soon.

Hi Scott! I think our field staff are talking about what we call a field memo or field inquiry. Since it is important to be able to communicate clearly what the issue is and the information that is needed, we process these field memos upon request. These are custom memos sent to each of our field offices, and in most situations, we would like the opportunity to talk with you a bit to get to know the situation a bit better before sending the inquiry. This is why we ask that sponsors who believe that an inquiry is needed, call us at 800-336-7676, email ciinfo@us.ci.org, or post here to request an inquiry.
