My first letter from my correspondent child Briseida in Mexico has been in translation for almost a month (it'll be a month next Wednesday). Is there any way I could get a copy of the letter? My sponsor number is 00898458.

Also, I've been waiting for the money from my India sponsorship to be transferred as gifts to two of my correspondent children. It looks like one of the children, Katherinne, received her gift over the summer because I received a picture of her with the items. Do you know if Marina in Bolivia has received her gift yet?

Hi Erin! Recently, the country offices in the 25 countries we work in have implemented new translation software. We believe this change may cause some letters to be “In Translation” for a couple of weeks to a couple of months. Regrettably, because Briseida’s letter is still being processed, I am unable to download an electronic copy for you at this time. I'm so sorry for any concern or inconvenience this delay may causes. We are very grateful for your understanding and patience as we give grace to our wonderful field staff and translators while they are sharpening their skills within this new software.

I’m so sorry to hear that you have not received a thank you letter from Marina yet. Please rest assured that your India funds were indeed transferred to your two correspondent children as family gifts. This transfer of funds was completed in February of 2016, so it has been more than 6 months since the gifts were sent. Because it has been longer than the normal time frame, I have sent an inquiry to our field office in Bolivia. We will ensure she has received her gift and ask her to write you a thank you letter. We will be in contact with you as soon as we receive a response within 6-8 weeks. We appreciate you bringing your concerns to us so we may help you.
