Hello!
I have been assigned a correspondent child (KE034500416) since June 18, 2019.  Unfortunately, it has been almost three months and I have not recieved a first letter from her. I know that it can take 2-3 months for a first letter, but I am just wondering if this is usual since I do not see any in translation, either.

Thank you for all you do! I am sure you don't have an easy job, but I really appreciate how you help us connect with our sweet kids!
Have a good day!

Depending on the age of the child, they may write immediately or not for a while. Then the translation takes a while as well. I have three children, and their first letters took from 3 months to almost a year.

Hi AMS! I'm sorry you haven't heard from your sweet correspondent child yet! Please keep in mind, it may take up to six months for you to receive that first letter. If you don't receive a letter from Hadasa by December 18th, please let us know! We would be happy to send an inquiry to her center and request that she write a letter to you.
