I want to write my first letter to my sponsored child. How do I write one? Do I mail it to her? Or to Compassion?

Writing to your child for the first time is easy! Within your sponsorship packet there should be the Compassion letter writing form and envelope. You can also use your own stationary as long as you provide your child's name and complete number, as well as your sponsor number. You may also write to your child on our website by logging onto "My Account".
When you send your correspondence you mail it to Compassion. We will then take care of it from there. We will make sure it is logged on your sponsorship account, that way we can keep track of letter writing for you!

When sending a letter by mail, where on the envelope do I write the child's name and ID number? Should I write it right beneath the Colorado Springs address, or put it on the back, or inside...
Please help me out if you have the answer to my question. I'd like to send this as soon as I can, though, it will already be a belated birthday greeting.
