I received a letter from my sponsered child only yesterday and she wrote it in August for her Bday. I think 5 months is too long to be receiving letters. I would have responded to her much sooner. I am very concerned about this. my sponser number is 2370559. thank you for listening.

Hey Robin! Normally, letters take 2-3 months to reach you, but definitely not 5 months. If this is the normal time frame for your letters, please contact us so we can look into it for you. If this is the first letter this has happened with, there could have been some delays at the project or field office that held the letter from being sent. This most often happens when they are affected by a crisis or disaster.

Just a thought- most other countries use the dd/mm/yyyy rather than the mm/dd/yy we are used to. Perhaps it was not written in August. Thought I would throw that out there :)
