I was very upset to receive a letter thanking me for sponsoring another child. I DID NOT accept sponsoring another child and am even more upset that you have already deducted the funds from my account. For these reasons, I want to cancel ALL of my sponsorship. I do not appreciate the fraudulent manner you have conducted your business.

Hi Diane,  I am very sorry for the misunderstanding here and the confusion and frustration that this caused. I will close your account with us today.  I am so sorry that our communications regarding your Guatemalan child who recently left the program, and another child to consider for sponsorship did not reach you. I see that we left a message for you on June 9 and sent a letter on June 20 explaining what was happening. I do apologize if either of those were unclear or if they did not reach you. We want to honor your wishes for how you sponsor with Compassion, and I am sorry that we let you down here. I am not seeing that we deducted anything from your bank account for this child, though. The last contribution pulled on 7/5/2017 was for your child in Indonesia and for the Partners of Compassion fund. If your bank statement is showing something different than this $45 contribution on 7/5/2017, please call us so that we can look into those charges further. Have a blessed day, Diane.
