The girl I sponsor got new photos (which were added to my account about 2 months ago). I was wondering if I would receive a paper copy set and if not, could some be sent to me. Also, she speak English, so she does not need letters to be on the translation formatted stationary you send. I usually write online or on my own stationary, so is is possible for you to stop sending me a letter page in the mail? I know that any little bit help you guys use more or your money towards the kids. Thanks!

Emma, they will send you a hi-res jpeg, and you can print it anyway you want to. Concerning the stationary, that is in the discussion stage. Right now, everything is automated when your letter is readied to send to you, and leaving stationary out isn't an option. But a lot of people don't need the stationary, and they are looking into it. I make my own stationary, and don't need it either. The first of the week, when the Compassion ladies see your question, they will send you a jpeg of your girl.

Also, in addition to what Garry wrote, you will receive a paper copy of your child's photo too :)  They are usually sent out pretty quickly after the information updates.  You can look on your account to see the date it updated.  (It is not always the same date as when the photo updates, but it is usually pretty close to that time.  I have waited anywhere from 1 hour to 3 months after a photo updated for the information to update.  If the information does not update (it has two years to do so and I think after 26 months you can inquire) or if you dont receive your paper copy of the photo in a reasonable amount of time after the information updates, Compassion staff will help you get it :D
As for the paper, what Garry said is correct, it's not an option right now, and while it would save money for paper, it would probably cost even more than they save in staff wages for the time it takes to go through all the accounts and see who doesn't want paper and who does.  So while it's still automated, they can't remove the paper.  I just recycle mine for the time being.

Hi Emma! I just sent you a jpeg of Lillian's new photo (thank you for your help Garry and Teresa!). It looks like Lillian's information updated in November. It can take a few months for us to get the printed copy printed and delivered to you in the mail but I trust that you will receive it very soon. Regrettably, it is not possible to make changes to the current stationary but as Garry mentioned this may be changing.
