Christmas gifts do not show up because they are treated differently. Watch for the thank yous in the letters.

Hi Judith,

I do see that both your birthday gift and Christmas gift have been processed. As Sarah said, your Christmas donation will not show as a gift, as it is actually a donation to our Christmas Fund. Once we receive all of our donations for Christmas, these are actually pooled and then divided among all the children in the program. This ensures that all kiddos, even those who do not have sponsors or have sponsors who are unable to give, still receive a special gift at Christmas time.

Is this the same for giving money to the family as a gift?

Hi Janette! The Christmas gift is the only donation that is set up as a fund. All other gifts (child gifts, birthday gifts and family gifts) are sent directly to your sponsored child.
