Is glitter paper and rhinestones ok to send on a bday card or will it cause shipping problems? This is what it looks like.

Wow, I never knew this.  My friend makes my birthday cards for me, and always wants to get things on them, and I have always said no, they will not go through with Compassion.  Since she is about to do some for next year, I am glad I can tell her she can put more 'stuff' on it.

Before you have anything made up special, I'd wait for an official response. This is just my personal experience that I haven't had any of my cards returned to me.

Hi ladies! These types of cards should go through fine :). We just ask that not too much more be added than in the above card because it might set off the metal detectors in customs and slow up the letters. If we cannot send an item, please be encouraged that we will contact you to let you know it will not be delivered to your child so that you can know for the future :). You ladies are so creative. I love seeing all these beautiful ideas!

One more question. I ended up buying a thicker card so I won't have enough room to include her introduction stuff and her bday stuff without it being over 1/4 inch. Can I send two separate bundles? I want to get an intro letter out, but I'm running out of time for the bday too.

Hi Kate! Yes, please just send two separate bundles. As long as each mailing is under 1/4" thick, you're golden. :)
