One of the children I sponsor recently moved. I was sent another packet for a child but did not commit to sponsoring. I was signed up to sponsor this child and charged for a month. I don't mind the first month going into the program but I cannot commit to the child long term. Can someone assist?

I'm not staff, but I do know that the extra child packets that come, arrive with a notice saying that if you do not alert them within however many weeks, the child will automatically be placed on your account so that's probably what happened.  I'm sure staff can help you soon, they are really good about cancelling for you and it won't be a problem.  
Just an idea too since you mentioned you don't want to commit because it's long term... if you were interested in sponsoring you can actually ask for older kids (young adults) that rae going to graduate soon and support them for just a few months :)

Good morning Nick, 
I am so sorry for the confusion. As Teresa mentioned, anytime one of your kiddos leaves the program, we will place another child on hold for you. At this time, we do send communication to let you know that we have this child on hold and that for your convenience, as most sponsors do want to continue, we will auto accept that child onto your account if we do not hear from you within 5 weeks. However, I do apologize if you did not receive this communication. I will be happy to remove this child for you now. May I please have the child number to this new kiddo? I see you have a few accounts with us and a few children, and I want to ensure we remove the correct child. Thank you so much!

Thanks Shannon. The child # is CO079900345. This was likely my mistake for not reading the packet entirely. Also, can you update my Compassion account to just show Nick Moore and not Taylor?

I have removed Yiselis (CO079900345) from your account for you today. However, I will not be able to remove Taylor from this account. For tax purposes, we are not actually able to remove a person from an account. However, I do see that we do have an account with only your name on it. It looks like you and Taylor both have individual accounts. We would be happy to move your two kiddos to your individual account, if you would like? Please let us know if you would prefer this!
