Is my oldest child (HA073100042) going to graduate school?

She is in the 9th grade, I presume finishing the 9th grade. She isn't enrolled in vocational training. This is her last year. Is she going to have to leave school after 10th grade?

Hi Briana! Our goal is to get children through primary education and some vocational training. Because 22 years of age is the maximum completion age globally, she will regrettably have to complete our program within 12 months of when she turns that age. She may be able to continue school on her own. Vocational activities available in Haiti are done for the most part at the center. These activities include painting, crafts, sewing, computer, music, photography, videography, cooking, foreign languages class, etc. It is very likely that she is in vocational training like the activities that I have mentioned. The local staff may have misunderstood the question and left it blank in error. That said, it is also possible that she is behind in her program. Regrettably, not all children complete our program and some have to leave before they meet all of the objectives. We do the best we can to enable them to complete but it does happen that sometimes children are not able to complete. She has made it through primary school so hopefully she is getting that vocational training as well.
