Hello...I am asking to have my sponsorship cancelled. My sponsor number is 07345167. I was sponsoring 3 children and had signed up for payments to be taken out of my credit card automatically each month. For some reason your billing system has changed and suddenly you stopped taking the money out automatically. I just checked the account and it says there is $680.00 past due. That was quite alarming to me as I was able to make smaller payments but cannot pay out $680.00 at one time.Please cancel my sponsorship so that someone can take over that has the ability to call you every month to make a payment or is able to write out a check every month. I cannot pay out that big of a sum at once and am frustrated that the billing system is somehow not working at Compassion ....Thank you ...J. Barrett

Janet, I am happy to help you with whatever you need to do on your account. I am so sorry that the automatic withdrawal has not been working on your account. I know we were having some transactional errors due to transitioning to a new processing system during the time that you setup the new credit card earlier this year. We take full responsibility for these errors. Please know that these errors are on our end and not your fault at all. Could we cover all of the support that was missed for you and start you afresh here in July? Please let me know if you would be willing to give us a chance to earn back your trust. Otherwise, I can certainly make these children available for another sponsor.

I asked on July 11th to have my sponsorship cancelled and on July 17th you continued to bill me. I will be disputing this with my bank and do not appreciate being billed when I specifically asked to be discontinued. This is completely unprofessional and uncool. Please stop this at once..
