My husband has been laid off. This puts us in a tough spot but honestly we (my husband, I, and our 2 sons) will be so upset if we give up our sponsorships. We have 3 wonderful children we have gotten to know. We enjoy and cherish the opportunity to be a part of compassion international. Is there any options other than cancelling that will help us through this temporary period?

Haley, I am so sorry that your husband has been laid off from his job and you are put in such a straining financial position :(. Compassion would actually be able to help your family stay connected to your sponsored children by covering your support for the months of February through April. We can also reduce your sponsorship to $19 per child, per month for May through September. I did already take care of removing the extra $21 commitment you have on your account to our Partners of Compassion fund. Please let me know if this offer would help your family be able to continue your sponsorships or if you need me to cancel them from your account.

Hi Haley,
I am so thankful to know that this will help you keep your relationship going with your children! I have taken care of this for you today, which means your next donation of $19 will be pulled on May 20th. :) Please let us know if there is anything else we can help you with! God bless you!
