Hi I wish to give a goat to my child for Christmas. I missed the deadline is there any way to still give this gift?

Hi Michelle! Thank you for reaching out! I would like to clarify the intent of Compassion's Gift Catalog. When donations are received through our Gift Catalog, the funds are collected and distributed to help specific families who can benefit from an item included in the catalog. Because the needs of our beneficiaries and their families vary across the different countries we work in, not all gift catalog items would be appropriate or accessible for every child and family. In other words, a goat would not benefit a family living in the intercity. If you would like to send a personal gift to your child, you may send a donation between $10 and $100 designated as a "General Child Gift." Monetary gifts for the family may also be given, between $25 and up to $1000 per calendar year. We ask that you designate these gifts as a "Family Gift." Sponsors are welcome to suggest how the funds be used and the project staff will counsel the family in regards to how they might spend the funds, however, the family ultimately decides how to use the gift; and no, it's never too late to give! Your gift would be a huge blessing to your child, no matter when it is given!
