How can I set my payment up through work, my company does a match program.

Hi Bridgett! Thank you so much for wanting to use your company's matching gift program to benefit Compassion! You'll need to follow the following steps in order to set up the matching gift:

  1. Complete the Matching Gifts Form for your company (often available from the Human Resources department). This form may require Compassion’s tax identification number (36-2423707).
  2. Send the completed form along with your donation or receipt from your recent donation to:

    Compassion International 
    Attn: Donor Processing 
    12290 Voyager Parkway 
    Colorado Springs, CO 80921

  3. We will complete our portion of the form and mail it back to your employer.

Hi JP! Do you need a receipt for a donation you made recently? Are you trying to use the receipt to give to your employer for their match program? Can you give me more information so that I can help you further with your request?

Hello Sarah! Yes, my company requires that I attach a receipt for the amount of each donation. I found the tax information page but I was wondering if there was a more detailed account for each transaction.

Edit - When sending the form to Compassion first, do you all take care of the receipt?

Good Morning JP, many employers will accept a print out of your giving history or the tax receipt. However, if you need us to create something for you on our letterhead, we are happy to do so. Regrettably, I was unable to find your account with your name or the email address that you provided. If you would like me to submit a request to have your giving history sent to you, please provide me with your sponsor number or your child's number. I appreciate your help with this.

Hello, my company also needs certain information before they will match. The information is in the gift receipt but scattered over 3 pages. I need something that I could preferably screenshot (single page) and send them with the online request. They will not approve without this. I can only upload 1 file. If you could create something that has your name, donor's name, amount, payment method and date all together I would be able to do a Company match on gifts. A monthly receipt with same info for sponsorship would allow a match for the monthly sponsorship amounts.

I can not get it to copy and paste to a document.

Hello John! I would be happy to put something together for you. When you say "your name", do you mean the name Compassion International? From what I understand, the file we'd put together for you would read like this:

Compassion International
John (Your name)
Amount given, payment method, amount given - all of your donations for the year in a list

Is this correct? Is there anything that needs to be added or taken away?

Yes, that is correct. An email is fine. I can submit back up to 90 days as long as the dates are listed for each amount. I would also suggest if possible to add this information to the email or page receipt, then I could process as I as go. Thank you
