Hi,
I have been at college for a few months and have realized I am spending more money than I have. I am not financially stable at this moment to continue doing this sponsorship. I sponsor Mabby's and need to cancel that.
Thank You
Jordan

Jordan, Christina responded to you in this post but I have pasted the reply below:

Hi Jordan. I'm so sorry to hear that you are struggling to keep Mabbys. Going to college is definitely hard on finances. Before we cancel your sponsorship, we may be able to help you keep your sweet girl. Because we value you as a Compassion sponsor and the difference you are making in Mabbys life, Compassion would be happy to cover a few months' support for you. This means we would cover the months of November through January, and you could resume your support in February. This would be our gift to you, so you wouldn't need to reimburse us.

If this option would help, please let me know and I would be happy to take care of this for you. If not, and you would like your sponsorship cancelled, please let me know and I will make Mabbys available for sponsorship again. In the meantime, I have paused your automatic monthly contribution until we hear back from you. God bless you!

Jordan, I have made Mabbys available for sponsorship again, and you should receive a cancellation confirmation within the next 15 days. Thank you so much for supporting Mabbys for the past 10 months! She will remain in Compassion's program while we search for another sponsor for her. You may write her one more time to say goodbye, too! If you would like to, please write "Final Letter" across the top of the correspondence, along with Mabbys name and child number. Please send this letter to Compassion's address below:

Compassion International
Colorado Springs, CO 80997

If in the future you would like to sponsor another child, we would be blessed to partner with you again. God bless you!

Hello, I am in the same situation. I started my sponsorship my senior year of high school, and I was able to keep up with my payments, even if a little late sometimes. However, I lost my job over the summer, and then I started college, and I am not able to make my payments. I waited a couple of months to see if my financial situation would change- but it has actually gotten worse. I also need to cancel my sponsorship.

Sierra, I am so sorry to hear that you've been dealing with such difficult financial struggles recently and need to end your sponsorship. Regrettably, I wasn't able to find your account with your name or email address. Can you give me your sponsor number or child ID?
