- I received a letter from one of my sponsored children, Burusi (KE034600326). He drew a picture of a sad boy with a cup, looking like he wanted more water. My question is, have food and water supplies made it to Bofu? How may I help Burusi and his family get what they need if there is not supplies available?
- My second question is about my other sponsored child, Midkenson (HA081000419). In a letter he sent me, he and his aunt writing for him told me about a little of his life and family. He lives with his grandma in a house that they do not own. He asked me to pray that his grandma could build a home of their own. Are they in a situation where they could be evicted? How much would it cost to get land and build them a small home in their community in Haiti? How can I help with that in terms of raising funds / getting it started? (Also do you know why he lives with his grandma?Im just curious to see what the family dynamics are.)
I know these may be bigger questions or issues than I can do on my own, but I love my kids and really want to help the best I can. Also I want to be sensitive to their situations while also making sure they get what they need. Thank you so much!! God bless you! And thank you for the opportunity to love on these kids and tell them about the Gospel so they can know Jesus Christ!
