How do I know if my sponsored child is receiving my letters?

Hi! I have been sponsoring Tesalonika since August and have sent multiple letters, but there has been no response to any of these letters. I know there is often a delay in correspondence and I expected that, but I want to be sure that she is safe and attending a compassion center and receiving my letters. I feel like that is more important to me than having a response at this time.
Can you give me any guidance?
Thank you!

It can take 4 months to receive the first message. Often the letter was pre-written so you can get it fast. But if not, it can take all of those 4 months. And very occasionally, as was the case with the first ever child I sponsored, they will leave the program after you sponsor them before sending a single letter. :( That was hard but I am glad I perservered and chose another child. We're at 3 years now and very thankful for the relationships we have formed.

Great answer, Sarah! Tifanie, I was able to find that Tesalonika is still attending the program. It looks like there is actually a letter from her currently in translation! You should be receiving this letter shortly. I am very sorry about the delay. Please let us know if you have any other questions!
