I sent money for both my child and separately for his parents for Christmas. Can I find out when they received the gift and what it was? Is that something I ask my child when I write?

Hi Lisa! You can certainly ask your child, but you will also receive a thank you letter from your child. You should receive it within six months of sending the gift. If you go longer than six months without getting a thank you, let Compassion know so they can do an inquiry and get you that thank you letter.
Also, if you sent over 60 dollars you should get a photo (this does not apply to the Christmas fund gifts)

Hi Lisa! As Kristen mentioned, you will receive a thank you letter from your child about six months after having donated the gift, but you are absolutely welcome to ask the child in your next letter as well :).
