So I was wondering, I am packing 2 large mailing envelopes that fit the guidelines for my 2 girls. I have put the pictures, and letters in their own small opened envelopes, and then the coloring pages, stickers etc I just put in the envelope. Is this ok? All pictures, envelopes, letters, and sticker pages are labelled with the child name, number, and sponsor #. Will Compassion keep all of this together or do I need to put it in a folder that Compassion can just re-package?

Hi Audrey! Basically, when we receive a letter from a sponsor for a child, we will place the letter and any attachments in a large manila envelope. Then we bundle all the envelopes of letters going to the same country in a large plastic bag (to protect the letters from the elements) and send them all in a box. There is a great video about the journey of a letter here. We love to see each letter and their attachments in separate envelopes for each child placed  in a larger envelope addressed to Compassion. That makes it easy and we can just bundle the envelopes with other letters going to the same country. :) However, either way is fine as long as everything is clearly labeled.

I watched the video, just didnt know if it was the same with attachments as well. I am addicted now, I have 3 kiddos... So I want to make sure I do this right! My husband thinks I am crazy ;-) But, I cant say no to these faces... Especially when we have 2 happy healthy kids of our own, and one on the way, with the income to spare. God has spoken loudly, and I have learned... Listen or He just gets louder (and more annoying lol), until you finally listen to Him! God has finally blessed me with kids from Africa. Ever since I was little my heart belonged in Africa, my heart finally gets to travel there, even if its just a letter and stickers, to put a smile on one of God's other children. God made me for His work, prepared me as a child, and He has now told me His plan for this burning desire I have had for 20 years. Never knew, or even thought, it was sponsorship. I just cant get over how He has blessed me, filled me up, with these 3 girls, and I havent even received the welcome packet for them yet!!!! Oh, sorry for babbling!
