We started sponsoring a child for the first time last January. We have sent multiple monetary gifts, packages, letters through the mail and online, and still haven't heard anything. I did reach out to customer service a few weeks ago, and they said I would get some kind of update soon, but still nothing. Is this typical? I just want to make sure the child is receiving all of this...Thanks!

Hi Jami! I am so sorry you haven't received letters from Surafel in quite a long time :(. This type of situation is not typical, but he should have received most of the letters you wrote this year already. The representative you spoke with did submit an inquiry to our office in Ethiopia. A staff member there will work on the case and will make sure that Surafel writes you a letter right away. It can take between six and eight weeks for us to receive a response back from the office, but we will contact you as soon as we have heard from them! In the meantime, thank you so much for continuing to bless him with your encouraging letters.
