My child has had a letter in processing for over a month now. We are really excited to get the first letter. I read that it can take up to four months to get a letter and we just started month five. Any idea why it might be taking so long?

Hi Alexander! I am so sorry that you have not received your first letter from your sweet Daniela yet :(. It has definitely taken longer than normal for her letter to be processed and delivered to you, and I sincerely apologize for this delay. Daniela's first letter to you is going through the final stages of processing and quality assurance checks which is why it is not yet available online. However, the good news is that I am able to download this letter for you! I am emailing you now with a copy of her letter :). Please rest assured that her letter will be available online soon. Please keep in mind that since your letter delivery preference is to receive her physical original letters, it will take significantly longer to receive the physical letter in the mail. Thank you so much for all the love you have already shown her through your thoughtful letters! We appreciate your patience as your correspondence relationship develops :). Have a blessed day!

Thank you so much for all of your assistance. There were happy tears today in Texas getting to read the first letter. Compassion has changed more than just Daniela's life through this sponsorship. We are so excited to be your partner in this. Thank you again.
