How long does it take to receive confirmation on sponsorship? I began sponsoring a child on October 27th and have yet to receive an email or packet. I am also unable to create an account. Does it usually take this long? thank you!

Hi Brittney! It normally takes about two weeks for an account to be set up for new sponsors. I apologize that it has taken longer than that for you! I couldn't find an account set up yet that is associated with the email address you provided. Do you have the child ID number of the child you signed up to sponsor? We may be able to check on the status of your account setup that way.

Thank you so much for that info! I was able to locate your account using that number. I do see that Jhoel was added to your account without a problem, and the welcome packet was successfully sent on October 27th to your mailing address that we have on file. Your sponsor number is 08461580, which you can use to create an online account. Your email address on file is different than the email address you provided here. Did you need me to update that information?

Hi Melvin! I see that your sponsorship of Yuko was successfully set up on the 5th of this month. A welcome booklet with all of her information was sent out on the 6th, and you should expect to receive it within the next few weeks (the delivery time for your welcome booklet will be a little bit longer, since you have an address outside of the U.S.). In the meantime, though, you're welcome to set up an online account through www.compassion.com. Hi Melvin! I am so sorry for the confusion. Because you live outside of the USA, our website doesn't recognize your zipcode the same way. You can create your account through this link: https://www.compassion.com/my-account/create-nonusa.htm. Let me know if you still have any issues!
