I have an odd question. Recently, my life changed drastically as I just met my biological family after having been adopted as a baby. I've gained 3 siblings (after growing up an only child) and couldn't be more thrilled!
My question is, should I share this with my sponsor child? Is this too much (or too confusing) of a situation to try and explain to her? She is about to turn 14 next month, but I don't know if culture differences would make it confusing for her.
I wouldn't explain at all and just talk about my siblings, except in my first letters I wrote that I didn't have any brothers or sisters.
Am I overthinking this? :)

Hi Kristina! I would say that this situation is absolutely something you can share with your sponsored child if you desire to! I think Amina is definitely old enough to understand and she will probably love getting to celebrate this happy change with you :).
