Before the change to digital sending the Print a Draft option would print the letter full page size. Today it only printed on 1/4 of the page and it is very hard to read. Anything I can do to change this?

I'm having the same problem and they told me that the problem wasn't on their end and that it had to be "my" printer settings... it's not! I had to enlarge it 200% on my printer setting to even be able to read it and it's still wasn't a full page. Very frustrating!

Hi Glenda and Julie! I am so sorry both of you are experiencing this issue :( It does sound like a printer setting that needs to be adjusted, but it might not be as well. I'm here to help get this situation worked out for you both! We are currently working on quite a few issues that have occurred with the new letter system since we released it. Rest assured that your letters should be able to print full sized as they used to. My question for you is have you just tried printing these letters as drafts? Have you tried printing them once they have been sent? The location of sent letters is a little different now. Once you are in the "Write My Child" tab, you'll need to click on "Communication History" on the left side of the page. Click on the conversations bar just below the child's picture and then click on the bar of one of your letters that has an envelope icon on it and click the orange print button. Can you tell me if it still prints on only 1/4 of the page?

Hi Sarah, thanks for your help! I am NOT printing a draft. I am printing a letter from my child Angele from the "Communication History".  I've tried it at home and at work and both print the pages at approx. 3 1/3" X 4 1/4".

Hi Sarah,

I typed a letter to each of my sponsored children last night. I go through each of the steps to write the letter: select template, write letter, add photos, and then preview.  On the preview page I can print a copy of the letter I wrote.  It has always printed a full page in the past, but last night it would only print a 1/4 page for each letter I wrote.  I then send the letter.  I also tried opening one of the last letters I wrote from the conversations bar and used the orange print button (which I originally printed as full page when I wrote it on April 10) and that also only printed as 1/4 page this time today.  I use my computer all day everyday for work so I would think that if it was a printer setting that I would have issues with other items as well.  I hope this helps.  I love to keep a scrapbook of the letters we send back and forth.  Thank you so much for your time.

Julie and Glenda, I just tried to print one of my sent letters and it printed correctly. I am wondering it you may need to change your print settings. Also, please keep in mind that each browser has it's own print settings. You might try using a different browser. I am using Chrome. In Chrome, before printing, you can use the "+" and "-" on the right hand side to enlarge or decrease the size of your letter on your print. I know you had already tried increasing the size but I am wondering if it is just not catching for some reason. I am so sorry. I know that printing issues can be frustrating. However, because it worked fine for me, it sounds like it is a printing issue on your end. Please let me know if this works for you or if we need to try something else.

Thank you Susan,

Chrome did it!  I was using explorer.  I did not need to change any settings.  If anyone else asks send them to Chrome.

Thank you for all your time.

Julie
