Just to give everyone who sponsors a child in Bolivia..... Sent my sponsor child 100 dollars for her birthday this year.  The photo above shows what she bought! Not sure... but does anyone think 100 dollars could have bought more in Bolivia?

Haven't seen the list of what she bought, obviously, but based on experience, there's a good chance that the outfit she's wearing was part of the gift. Also can't tell what those things are in her hand, but they look warm and potentially pricey...

Hi Jennifer,
She wrote and this is the translation from the Spanish letter,  "I bought a pink shirt that I like a lot (probably the jacket in her hand), I also bought some boots, some shoes for school and some kitchen toys that I played with my sister, and I share my kitchen with them."
But yes, you're probably right, that what she is wearing is also new and I think there are 2 jackets in her hands.  What's neat is the American types of cereals she purchased which I think she meant by sharing with her sister. Canned food.... not sure what this .
