How to accept new sponsorship online

Hello, I am a relatively new sponsor. My 1st child left the program after two months due to a family move, and now I have received a packet with a new child for me to sponsor. The letter said I could agree to sponsor her on my online account, but I can't find out how anywhere. She's not under my "Sponsorships" tab, but she's also not still "available" anywhere to sponsor. Advice?

Hi Kayla! I'm so sorry you had a child leave the program so quickly after sponsoring them. That has got to be a bit disorienting. We're here to help if you need anything! You can always post here, call 800-336-7676, or email ciinfo@compassion.com for assistance. 

In answer to your question, you can definitely accept this new child online. :) Please log into your "My Account." 

If it has been at least ten days since your child left the program, you will see the below message on your "Account Summary" when you first log in. Click on your previous child's name.



You will then be given three options:

1.     
Transfer Sponsorship”: This will transfer your sponsorship to the new child that we chose for you.  2.     
I prefer to search for a
different child
”: This will take you to the main sponsorship page so you can select different child to sponsor.

3.     
I would like to speak or chat
with a Compassion
representative
