Hi Victor! I'm so sorry that the person you've assisted in sponsoring a child has not yet received their welcome packet. If they sponsored this child at an event you held, it takes up to four weeks to set up a new sponsor's account and this would be why they haven't received information yet. If they sponsored online, they should have received their welcome packet within 15 days but this last week was a holiday and so it could be a few extra days due to us not being in the office to process their sponsorship. If they sponsored online and did not receive a confirmation email, it's possible that it did not fully process and they might have to find another child (or the same one if that child is still available) and do it again. If they did receive an email from us after sponsoring, they can rest assured that we'll get them their sponsorship information in the mail, it just might be taking longer to reach their home.

My suggestion to you, would be to have them contact our office with the child's ID number and we'll make sure they get set up and receive information in the mail :). Thanks for advocating for these precious kiddos!

Your friend is able to email us at ciinfo@us.ci.org or call our office at (800) 336-7676 Monday-Friday from 7am-5:30pm MST.
