I am a college student who works a part-time job. It's hard to even support myself and frankly, I can't afford to sponsor a child. However, I recently went to a compassion experience and a worker there informed me that Compassion has letter-writing only sponsorships for children who are sponsored by companies who sponsor them, but cannot afford the time to do the relationship-related activities. I am interested in this, but do not know how to do this. I looked on the website and couldn't find a way to access this type of sponsorship. How can I do this?

Hi, Hannah! The wonderful Compassion staff who monitor this forum can put you on the correspondent waiting list and help you get your sponsor number to set up your account. My family and I have quite a few correspondent children we write to and it is a great joy! It is hard to know how long it will take to be assigned a correspondent, but it is so sweet when you see that new little face pop up on your account. Hope this helps! God bless you and your studies!
