I can’t write a letter on the Compassion app

I would like to write a letter to my child but for some reason when I go into the write letter tab the write letter button is dark for a second and then turns light and I can’t select to write. I tried restarting the phone and app and it didn’t help. What can I do??

Hello Marissa, I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing any difficulty with the mobile app. I appreciate that you want to write to your sponsored child and encourage them. Your letters mean so much to them. Please try the below troubleshooting steps to see if this helps.

1. Log out of the app
2. Uninstall the app
3. Check your phones software to make sure it is the most up to date version (If not please update)
4. Reinstall the app
5. Log back in 

If these steps do not help, please provide your phones make, model and current operating system being used. If you are able to include a screen shot, that is always helpful too. I would need to submit a ticket to our technical support team for you. Again, I am sorry that this is happening and appreciate your understanding and patience while we work to resolve the issue for you.
