I had some unexpected medical bills this month, and I'm unable to pay my sponsorship payment. Can you help me? My sponsor number is 1373145.

Mandy, I'm so sorry to hear that you are going through some financial hardship :(. I do understand and I can certainly help you with your sponsorship of Kevin. Compassion is happy to cover a few months' support for you. This means we will cover the months of December through February, and you will resume your support in March. This is our gift to you, so you do not need to worry about reimbursing Compassion. Regrettably, we are in the process of transitioning to a new system, and all of our transactions and requests will be delayed for a few weeks. Therefore, it will take a couple of weeks for us to take care of this request. Please rest assured that I have notated your account and I will take care of Kevin's support once our system transition is completed. I apologize for any inconveniences this may cause and thank you for your patience. We appreciate the connection and commitment you have with your kiddo :).

Mandy, I am so sorry for the confusion! It does look like we didn't take care of covering your sponsorship donations for the months of December or February yet. I have done so for you today, so it should show an updated balance of $0  within the next 24 hours. Please let us know if we can help you further, and I apologize that this wasn't taken care of as we promised it would be.

I saw this conversation today (from two months ago) and am in the same boat with medical expenses and an upcoming surgery. I won't be able to pay this month and possibly next month. I would prefer to not cancel my sponsorship and am wondering if there's a grace period for payments? I would need it for April-June if possible. My sponsor number is 00989556 (that's the new number I was given; previous number was 1674695-1). Thank you!

kimariepina, typically you will see this on your account roughly 48 hours or so after we have covered the amount on our side. If you do not see that balance removed by then, please let us know!
