It will be my honor to support Julieth until she is out of the program. Unfortunately, I don't know if I will be able to support another child after her. I have been unable to write her for most of our time together because I have been very sick and am permanently disabled. I would still like to support a girl in North Korea (or another persecuted country) in some way, if possible. But I can't support her full time. I can pray for her like I have been doing for Julieth. Any suggestions you may have for me are greatly appreciated. In His Grace and Strength, Nancy

Hi Nancy! Thank you so much for your dedication to sponsor Julieth through her graduation from our program! Your commitment is such a blessing to our ministry and to Julieth. Compassion doesn't work in North Korea as local churches there are not free to openly engage with the community. Since our program is delivered directly through local churches, we have to work in countries where the churches are free to minister to their local communities. We do work in countries where Christians are largely the minority though, if you are interested in sponsoring a child in a country like Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Thailand. That being said, it does sound like another sponsorship may not be something you are able to do. We do have funds you are welcome to donate to, either regularly or as you are able to, for as low as $1. One I highly recommend is our Unsponsored Children's Fund because your donations allow children who do not currently have sponsors to attend the program and engage in all of the benefits and activities while they wait for their new sponsor. Information for this particular fund can be found here. I also recommend signing up for our monthly prayer calendar since it sounds like you have a heart for lifting up children to the Lord through prayer! From our prayer page on the website, you'll simply want to click on the orange button labeled "Download the (month) Calendar". Let me know if I can help in any further way! It has been an honor to partner with you!
