I haven't gotten a number yet for my email to set up an account and I already have a child

I havent gotten an email yet about my child only a text of who it is and to create an account it says I need the code that was emailed to me. I want to write them a letter but I can't until I set up an account.

Hi Avery! I don't see that we have actually created an account for you yet (if it is under the name you provided here.) Do you know the child's number? Where did you sign up to sponsor this child? I'd be happy to look into this for you and help you get an account created :).

If you recently sponsored your first child in the program, it might take a bit to get set up. I sponsored my first child at a Compassion Experience on Saturday, October  29. But the information had to make its way to Compassion US and they have me as sponsoring her since "November 11."  I used the envelope they gave me at the Experience to send my first letter/pictures/stickers with just the child # on it because I did not have a Sponsor # yet. (Note: this has evidently NOT reached her yet, though the card we filled out -at- the experience has gotten there AND A Christmas card I made online on Dec 27 has also made it, apparently) I happened to email on November 10 asking for a Sponsor # and received it on November 11 (which I used to write a second letter).  On November 16 I got the official email with the Sponsor # in it.
