I have been working a lot (over 70 hours a week) and haven't written my children in a few months. Do I apologize for the lack or do I not as I am still writing more than the minimum required (just not as much as I would like)?

Give Grace to yourself!  Writing your child is very important, however, everyone has times where they fall behind.  Write your child today, or as soon as you can, to get back into a (at least a once a month) routine.  Tell him/her that you have missed communicating, share what you have been up to "like you normally do" (no need to go into great detail about how it has caused you not to write).  I can tell you are a wonderful sponsor due to your level of concern.  Thank you so much for being a sponsor that consistently communicates (encourages) your sponsored child.  He/She will be glad to get a new letter from you.  Deanna

Cynthia, I send notes via the online tool. It is so easy, has fancy stationary and you can whip one out in a few minutes just to say you care and are praying for them. I know I would struggle if I wrote them out by hand etc. This is a blessing to have. Don't beat yourself up, your prayers for them are being heard. Praying for rest for you ,also.

Amen to these comments! Ms. Shank, please don't be so hard on yourself. You're an amazing blessing to your sponsored children. God bless you. We need more people like you in this world. Your children are so lucky to have a sponsor like you.
