Hi pganswindt! Thank you for reaching out to us. I'm so sorry the handwriting on this letter is so hard to read. I'm able to make out a few words, but I can't see what the whole thing says. I will send an inquiry to her center, requesting that they translate this handwriting for us! When we hear back, we will reach out to you. Thanks so much for your patience, and again, I apologize for this!

Hi Pam! I'm not associated with Compassion other than just being a sponsor myself, but I was able to make out some of the writing for the letter.... maybe the two words I couldn't quite make out are ones that others can read?

"Hi Mommy Pam, Hello... good day! Thank you for your support for my studies. I am glad and I'm happy in my _____ because we are ______. Thank you very much. Love, (your child's name -- I just can't read it, sorry!)."

Emily, thank you for your help! I think the rest of the letter reads "I'm happy in my birthday because we are complete", and the translator meant to write "on" instead of "in", but we're not quite sure... Hopefully, the staff at her center is able to verify this info for us!
