I love this. I love y’all have an app. It makes it so much more efficient for me and I know I will write to my child often. My only concern is sometime I forget to pray for him and I found the reminder but you only have weekly and monthly settings... can y’all make a daily setting? I would appreciate it a ton. Thank you.

Hi Kaylin! I am so happy to hear that you are enjoying the features available on the new app! I will absolutely pass your feedback regarding daily prayer reminders on to our app developer :).

Kaylin, we appreciate your feedback and did consider creating a daily letter writing reminder with the release of the new app for iPhones (Android is scheduled for later in the Spring). Our developers decided not to move forward with a daily reminder, because we would actually prefer that sponsors not write daily. Why you might ask? Because daily letters are often overwhelming for both our translators and kiddos. Many translators are given a certain number of letters that they must translate within a week. As you can imagine, it makes more sense to spread letters out to a weekly basis so that they only have once letter per week to translate per child/sponsor. In addition, the children are asked to respond to all of your questions and comments in the letters. Some centers may only get mail once a month. If the sponsor is writing daily, the child will get 28-31 letters each month, making it virtually impossible for them to respond to everything that was mentioned. Once a week, month, or every few months is typically plenty often. Again, thank you so much for your feedback and thank you for blessing your child with so many letters! We greatly appreciate your partnership!
