I messed up my sponsor child’s name. It showed up on the letter writing screen as her middle name, so that is what I used. But now I noticed that it is in fact her middle name. It is my first letter and wanted to get off to a better start then addressing her with the wrong name. Can I fix it?

Hi Laura! Thank you so much for your message and for taking the time to write to your sponsored kiddo! I'm sure that letter will mean the world to her! Sadly, there's no way we can edit a letter once it's been submitted. :( However, I'm sure Helarie won't be too confused, since Krezia is part of her name! I wouldn't worry if I were you. :)

I have kids in El Salvador and they often go by their middle name. My child's name is Carlos Ernesto (and a last name), and his letters often are signed Nestor, which must be his nickname. I think it is just the culture and your letter is just fine as is!
