I need to cancel 1 of my sponsorship

There is nowhere on the website or the phone to cancel? Why is this? We were added a child in January that we did not choose. We would like to keep only 1 for me, that is Yafreisi, due to financial constraints. Please advise.

Melissa, I’m so sorry for any confusion or frustration caused by receiving a new child. The option to cancel online is not available because we desire an opportunity to save the relationship or hear how we may be serving you better. I am sorry for the confusion about Oldung'oret. At the time Angel left Compassion's program, we sent you a letter explaining that we had a child on reserve for your consideration. The letter explained that you were under no obligation to sponsor this new child but that we would need to hear from you if you decided not to continue sponsorship. Please know that it is our heart to get children sponsored, but we in no way want to offend anyone in doing so. In fact, we adopted the above procedure at the request of many of our sponsors. Please rest assured that I have cancelled your sponsorship of Oldung'oret and have made him available to another sponsor. You will now only have Yafreisi on your account. Please let us know if you have any additional questions or concerns. Have a blessed day!
