I need to cancel my sponsorship, effective right away please

I'm unable to afford to continue my sponsorship, and I couldn't find a place on your website to cancel the sponsorship or remove my payment info.

My sponsor/donor number is 3936517. Please cancel my sponsorship and all related charges, and please do not make any further charges to my credit card, effective right away.

Following the instructions in the "Questions" section of your website, I've sent an email and am also making this post. I tried also to call the number provided, but I need to call back during business hours.

I also need to cancel mine. My marriage just took a turn and I no longer have money to feed my own kids. Asap

Thank you. :-) Can you verify that you have the right account modified? The child on my account was Cheryl, not CeCe, and my account should end up having no children remaining once Cheryl is removed as my sponsored child.

Skiwithchar, so sorry for the confusion. Cheryl goes by CeCe, which is why Shannon called her by that name instead of Cheryl. Yes, we did modify the correct account :). You do not have any children on your account now.

I am so sorry that you are no longer able to support Kofi Blackie. Would you be interested in having Compassion cover a few months of sponsorship to allow you a small break from the financial commitment, but would allow you to continue your relationship with him. Please let us know if you feel this would be helpful. Otherwise, I will happily fulfill your request to cancel.

Shannon, I don't think it would be fair to him, if someone else can pick up his sponsorship. I wouldn't conceivably be able to do anything again until late December.
