Good morning Erin,

I am so sorry that you are thinking of canceling your sponsorship of Ibis! Please know that we truly value our supporters and we would be blessed to able to help you keep your relationship with your sweet kiddo. If your request is due to a short term financial situation, Compassion would be happy to cover three months of sponsorship for you to allow you a small break from the financial commitment. This means we would completely cover the months of February through April.

If you situation is not due to finances, if you feel comfortable, please share with us if there is anything we may be able to do to help you keep your sponsorship. However, if you still feel it is best to cancel your sponsorship, please let us know and we will be happy to fulfill your wish to cancel.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Hi Erin,
We completely understand. I have removed Ibis from your account today. If you would like, you may write Ibis a final letter. Please write “Final Letter” across the top of the correspondence, along with your child's name and child's number, EC050300792. Please send your letter to Compassion's address below:

Compassion International
Colorado Springs, CO 80997

If in the future you would like to sponsor another child, we would be blessed to partner with you again!
