I need to cancel my sponsorships

Sadly, I need to cancel my sponsorships. I have run into some hardships as of recent but I hope to sponsor again in the future.

Jillyn, I am so sorry that you have been dealing with a difficult situation recently and need to cancel :(. If this is due to financial concerns, Compassion would love to step in and help you for a time so that you can continue to sponsor. We'd be able to cover your sponsorship support for the months of August through October. Starting in November, we can also reduce your sponsorship rate to $19 a month per child through March. Please let me know if this would help or if you still need to cancel.

That would work out great! I have already been charged for the month of August though. Thank you so much for working with me so I can still sponsor.

Jillyn, at the time that we had offered to cover the month of August, your sponsorship donation had not yet been processed. However, please rest assured that I have asked our processing team to refund the $38 for Veronica and Samuel. I have also taken care of covering your support for the months of August through October and reduced your sponsorship rate to $19 a month per child for the months of November through March. I also need to cancel my sponsorship. I have prayed and I do not know what else to do. I have lost my job. I will have no source of income for likely a year, as I've decided to return to school. I plan to sponsor again once I get back on my feet.

Jacqueline, I am so sorry to hear that you have to make such a hard decision and that you've lost your job :(. As requested, I have placed your child back up for sponsorship today. We would love to partner with you again in the future :)!

I need to cancel as well, I am having to pay for school and am having problems with it, I was also wondering if this months payment could be given back? I am having to figure out how to pay for school and this months hasn't been fully processed yet.

Jenny, I'm so sorry to hear that you are no longer able to sponsor your sweet girl, Stevani, but I understand and can certainly help you. Please rest assured that I have asked our processing team to refund the $38 that was recently withdrawn, and it may take about 2-3 business days. I have also cancelled your sponsorship, and you will receive a confirmation in the mail within two weeks. Thank you so much for the time you were able to be a blessing to your kiddo, and if you would like to sponsor another child in the future, we would be blessed to partner with you!
