I have unfortunately come into financial hardships due to unemployment. So I will need to stop sponsoring my child. I hate to do this, but I don’t have any jobs lined up yet and don’t see myself being able to continue to sponsor her anytime in the near future. I apologize and I hate that I can no longer help.

Paige, I am heartbroken to hear that you are unemployed right now, and I cannot imagine how difficult that must be! I will be praying for God to open up a job for you very soon! Would it help you be able to continue your sponsorship for the time if Compassion took care of your donations for December through February? If you are still looking for a job in March, we would be happy to extend our offer to cover the donations for another two months after that as well. We hate to see sponsors have to give up their precious kids due to unemployment :(. Let me know if that would help or if you need me to honor your cancel request. In the meantime, I have stopped your automatic contributions so they don't pull out for December.

For now I’ll need you to just go ahead and cancel. I’ll look into sponsoring again if/when I find work. Thank you.

Paige, as you requested, I have made your child available for another sponsor.
