I want to cancel my sponsorship immediately.

I paid for an entire year for my child in India at 456. Dollars but understand the government is not accepting funding. I want to cancel my sponsorship immediately and for you to return my funds so that I can use the money to build water Wells for another organization. I'm disappointed in this program. Please respond so that I know you have received this correspondence and I will follow up with a written letter as well.

Hi Donna, I am so sorry for your disappointment, but we do understand. This year has been very tough on us and our projects as we have been working through issues with getting funding to India. All of your support has been held here in this office as we awaited approval from those in power to allow us to send the support to your sponsored child. I will submit a request today to have your contributions refunded to you. I will apologize in advance that it will take us a couple of weeks to process that refund because we are going through a system upgrade this week and next, but your request will be in queue to be completed as soon as possible.

I do not know if I am commenting in the right place but I unfortunately need to cancel my sponsorship.  I thought my financial situation would have been resolved in a few short months but unfortunately it has gotten worse.  I am unable to continue my sponsership

Hi Sarah! I am sorry to hear that you are still struggling. I am happy to help with whatever you need to do on your account. Regrettably, I am unable to get into our system this week because we are in the middle of transitioning to a new processing system. I will follow up with you next week and take care of this for you just as soon as I am able to get into the system.

Hi Zaira! I am so sorry to hear you cannot continue sponsorship and will be without a job soon :(. If this is a temporary situation, we would love to help cover your sponsorship donations so that you can continue with Moises. We are able to cover your donations for February through April and reduce your sponsorship rate to $19 a month for May through October. If that would help, please let us know! If you still need to cancel, please let us know that too and we will put Moises back up for sponsorship.

Hey there, I also wish to discontinue my sponsorship. I've been confused for a while as to where my sponsorship money is going since it seems like for a while the funds have not been able to reach my child.

Eli, our hearts are broken over the situation in India over the last several months as we have been unable to send the support due to government restrictions. We have been given no reason for these government restrictions and have done everything we can to resolve this issue. Please do let us know if you have any further questions or would like to re-route the support you have sent since this issue began in India. As you requested, I have canceled your sponsorship.
