I was asked by Compassion to change my payment from a credit card to an automatic payment from my bank account in order to save Compassion the credit card fees. The month this occurred, my monthly payment was charged to both accounts. How do I get credit for the over payment? This happened to my account in May 2016.

Hi Steven, I apologize for that double charge! We will get your refund submitted for your card as soon as possible! We do greatly appreciate you switching to the automatic pull from your bank account; that makes a huge difference in the amount of fees that we pay, so thank you so much for being willing to make that change.

I was double charged in May for May and June but my June payment isn't due to come out until the 20th of the month. I don't want another charge to be made to our account until July 20th. I have also added our checking account to reduce your fees. I will make sure this is the primary account for our monthly donation. Would you be able to stop the payment for June 20th or else credit the card, if we get charged again on that day? Thank you!

Lynn, I am so sorry you were double charged in May and June. As you requested, I have made your credit card inactive and set the next pull date to July 20th for your checking account. Thank you so much for letting us know your wishes. God bless you!
