HI Kaleah! Great question! When you give to the Christmas Gift Fund it is a fund that ensures all registered children in Compassion's program will receive a Christmas Gift. You are welcome to give as much as you would like to that fund. The contributions are pooled and distributed evenly among each registered child.

I was going to send in my money for my child, then I was going to give to the 'Christmas Gift fund', but I read somewhere that it gives 'your child' and other children Christmas gifts through this fund? so does that mean I need to just donate to the Christmas gift fund instead of sending in money for my child seperately? I just want to make sure my child gets a gift AND that I give to other kids too, without overlapping ... I was a little confused on that..

There is no need to send separate donations to the Christmas Fund for your child and for other children since all donations are pooled together.
