Hi Hilary! Thank you so much for considering sending your child a gift to celebrate something special :). The children write thank you letters in response to the gifts they receive from sponsors, which usually arrives about six months after the gift is given. They are supposed to tell the sponsor what they were able to purchase with the gift. A gift between $10- $20 will be responded to in the child's next scheduled letter. Gifts between $21- $59 generate a special thank you letter that the child will write and send directly after receiving the gift. Gifts over $60 generate that same thank you letter template, but they also include a special photo of the child with the gift :).

I made a payment for a family gift today. Will I get a letter or picture on what the gift was used for?

Hi Mandy!  I see where we processed your gift today! Yes, you will receive a thank you letter telling you what was purchased with your gift. Your child may include a photo; however, they are only required to include photos for gifts that are $60 or more.
