I'm a film student. Is it okay to include pictures of me and my classmates on a movie set in the letters to my sponsor child?

I read somewhere that you shouldn't include pictures of our cars, houses, possessions, etc. But I also read that sponsor children love receiving photos and hearing about what we do at work and what we're learning in school (or something like that). Is it okay to include pictures of me and my classmates working on a movie set in the letters to my sponsor child? Because they are pictures showing what I do for school and what I will eventually do for a living, but they also show expensive camera equipment and stuff like that.

Hi Lindsey! I don't see anything wrong, and I think it would make an awesome letter topic. It could inspire your child with his/her schooling and following his/her dreams.

From what you read about showing possessions - the key to that is you don't want to show a divide in lifestyles, reinstating the mindset of poverty. Hope that helps!
